Imran Khan is now OFFICIALLY the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He has taken his oath at the President House

The atmosphere all around the country seems to be one of a mass celebration! Even Imran Khan who has had to keep a somber face throughout the last few months to display his seriousness looked like he was giddy with excitement.

And why wouldn’t he be, the journey towards this day was 22 years in the making and had a lot of twists and turns. But of course, he wasn’t alone and couldn’t have done it without some very loyal friends.

And looks like Imran Khan’s social media team was working over time because as soon as he took the oath, his bio and Twitter handle changed.

Talk about swift (not Taylor).

And people honestly can’t seem to talk about anything other than Imran Khan and his Oath Taking because all of the top trends on Twitter and regarding them

Now if that doesn’t tell you about how excited people are then nothing will.

In fact, the new Prime Minister was so excited that he even fumbled up a few words, but his adoring people did not get offended in fact thought it was endearing and a lot of people seemed to relate to this little fumble

Aside from the jokes, some people saw that something was missing from the Oath Taking ceremony and were quick to point it out.

Imran Khan’s sons Qasim and Suleiman were notably missing from the festivities and apparently, according to Jemima, it was on the orders of Imran Khan himself
