So… the internet has drastically slowed down across the nation (if you’re reading this while all this is happening, challo good hai aap ka toh chal ra hai); PTCL customers in particular faced this problem, not surprising in the slightest. Anyway, it seems to be a major fault. Even 3G and 4G services are not working properly, some services are suspended altogether. Apparently, there is a technical issue with one of those submarine cables to Pakistan. The cable cuts have happened somewhere near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Apparently, there is a technical issue with one of those submarine cables to Pakistan. The issue took place somewhere near Saudi Arabia, one cable system that is known as SEA-ME-WE 4 is under repair. Right now with three cables damaged Pakistan is relying on a backup of sorts. Let’s just say the internet here is in ‘deep’ shit.
People were not pleased with crappy internet and expressed their frustration on Twitter (which you need the internet to access lol)
