We’re almost nearing a year since actress Mira Sethi announced to the world that she got engaged. This was no normal engagement announcement, mostly because of how absolutely cute it was.
In her post she referenced a SUPER adorable moment between them.
“We biked across the desert at night, our cycles glowing with fairy lights. Bilal biked ahead so I could follow him. He would slow his bike down every few minutes and ask, “Tum theek ho? Thand tou nahi lag rahi?”
My personal favorite was her reaction to those three magic words.
‘I love you, he said.
“Very happy to be here,” I said moronically, wiping snot off my frozen nose.’
Following this, Mira Sethi basically became a meme.

Now, almost a year later, we’re back here to celebrate the couple’s shaadi! The couple tied the knot in what seems to be a rather intimate affair.
The festivities kicked off with what looked like to be a mehndi.

Ali Sethi sang a rendition of ‘Aaj Jaanay Ki Zid Na Karo’.
Honestly, just hearing that he did it made me cry. What a perfect gift!
He also sang ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’ for the happy couple too.
The Nikkah ceremony was yesterday, and the couple was surrounded by close friends and family.
Gotta love a traditional wedding.
The bride was smiling from ear to ear, and her smile is simply contagious.
Truly, it looks like such a beautiful gathering.
She also put up this SUPER heartwarming post.
“I did my own makeup, scooped my hair into a ponytail, and married the love of my life. Two weeks before the wedding, at Burning Man, I painted love of life’s nails while love of life was asleep. Love of life woke up, looked at hand, smiled, and went on with his day. Two weeks later he strolled into wedding venue with these nails. I love him, and here are some photos of this crazily delightful day.”

It isn’t entirely clear if this is the extent of the wedding festivities at the Sethi household. That being said, we wish the newlyweds all the very best with their upcoming life together.
