Everyone has this one comfort show that brings them eternal peace. After long hours outside the pleasure of the bed, this one show just seems to make EVERYTHING right. To find relatable features in characters and being seen as something that one wants throughout their life. 

We love our comfort shows and hence have curated a list of the most teddy bear-hugging (metaphorical) tv series you can sit back and enjoy.

HEARTSTOPPER 

 A coming age series that made our hearts stop. Do you remember the first time you fell in love? Well, this is about falling in love and your love is reciprocated. Netflix outdid itself by contributing to Hearstopper coming to life and being a part of a community forever and beyond.

GILMORE GIRLS

We often look at teenage mothers and imagine how their children will turn out. Gilmore Girls is a comfort show about a mother, daughter, and their relationship. Everything has its pros and cons, having a kid who is only a few years younger than you makes it more of a friendship than a parent-child relationship. 

SCHITT’S CREEK

Having lost everything that they own, the Schitts are to live in an old town they bought because of a silly little bet. Their whole life turns 180. It’s up to the Schitts to figure out how they are going to survive this drastic change.

UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT 

Locked in a cellar for almost a decade, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a satirical comedy about a girl finding herself in the ruins of new york. She meets unexpected people, gets into unexplainable dramas, and falls in love unknowingly. 

SWEET MAGNOLIAS 

Three women, three different stories, and an unbreakable bond. The friendship between three people who have known each other for the longest time, who have seen each other grow, and are ready to give up everything for their homies are the real ones. Sweet Magnolias is something you would want to watch with a hot cup of coffee and biscuits. 

ATYPICAL

Autism is something not everyone can understand except for the person who has it and the people around them. Atypical shows the ugly side of a family fending for themselves and day to day challenges they have to go through because of their child. 

THE GOOD PLACE 

Have you ever wondered what happens when you die? The Good Place has it all sorted out for you. Figuring out life after death and life before death and trying to make amendments along the way because it is never too late.
