Okay so remember how Season 2 of Stranger Things left us wanting more? Well, the trailer for Season 3 just dropped about an hour back and WOW, it looks hella promising. Am I pissed about Steve barely getting any screen-time? A little. But the trailer is still bomb AF, so let me walk you through it.
Alright, so it begins with our adorable lil’ buddy, Dustin, chillin’ at home…
…when – boom – stranger things start happening. Heh.
His toys start moving by themselves. Totally normal in Hawkins by now.
Then we see his friends, hiding from him…
..essentially using Eleven to traumatize Dustin.
Haha. Good one, kids. That’s a totally normal and healthy thing to do to your friend who fought monsters with you last season. That won’t constitute to any unpleasant memories. Need me friends like these.
Also, they’re using Eleven for pranks now? I guess that’s just a thing they do. Cool. Naak se khoon nikalta rahey. Kisko fikar hai?
Anyhoo, turns out, Mike, Lucas, Will, Eleven and Max are all surprising Dustin…
…which doesn’t go as planned.
Dustin, sweetie, relax – that’s a totally normal reaction. Pepper spray their asses off.
Khair, then we cut to the crew chillin’ some more.
Clearly summer break hai.
We see these two, lookin’ awfully suspicious tbh…Kya scene hai?
And we see this douche, being his douchey self.
Ugh. Wear a shirt. DON’T YOU KNOW UNCOVERED MAN IS LIKE LOLLIPOP???
We see Hopper – who seems to be smiling?I mean, that’s pretty new. He’s all cleaned up.
And Joyce is just perpetually sad…so I guess that’s just her character now.
Now, the trailer jumps to Mike pointing out how they’re not kids anymore.
I’m guessing that means we’ll be touching more mature subject matter now, especially when the crew’s relationships are involved. Cool, interesting.
I mean, we see Eleven and she looks even more gorgeous than usual.
Fashionista ban gayi hai poori. Wah.
We see Will…
…and he still doesn’t look too great, tbh.
Apna boi Steve bhi aata hai
Aww, being all cutesy with Dustin. 10/10 shipping this bromance.
But then, the trailer takes a turn. People are protesting…
…and Hopper’s talking about wanting to make someone feel safe.
With a frikkin’ bruise on his face.
And then this random dude with a gun shows up.
Matlab, kyun?
Then there’s this mad aesthetic shot of Eleven…
…but it’s also hella ominous.
Kahan doob rahi hai yeh? Why does she always get the most shit thrown her way? Bechari. Cut her some slack. Saans lene do.
Then there’s some casual mutation of skin…
…because obviously, shit has to hit the fan.
And then we see all our favs, again – bleeding – on the floor, looking at someone…or something.
Also – this pops up, rather unexpectedly, so I’m guessing that somebody gonna get hurt real bad.
