These celebrities are speaking up for Zoobia Meer

In an unfortunate development, a video went viral where a son was seen beating his old mother while his sister, Zoobia Meer, screamed for mercy. The video shook everyone to the core and everyone, including the celebrities, are demanding justice for Zoobia Meer and her mother.

 

Pakistani celebrities are also speaking up for Zoobia Meer, like Saba Qamar

 

Hamza Ali Abbasi came forward to express his deep sadness and wished hell on the barbarous son

 

Naimal Khawar Khan shared a Quranic verse which forbids children to cause any harm to their parents

 

Actress Ushna Shah was another one of Pakistani celebrities speaking up for Zoobia Meer

She shared how the vile act had her in tears and felt sorry for the poor mother who had to undergo such a traumatic event.

 

Actor Yasir Hussain, too, was taken aback by the appalling actions

Armeena Rana Khan demanded the beast to be put behind the bars

 

Actor Ali Rehman Khan also put forth his strong wish to see the vicious culprit behind the bars

 

Zara Noor Abbas expressed her disgust and wished for the death of such a cold-blooded humans

Honestly, though, we understand the sentiment but the demands for death upon every such incident just go on to make our society more desensitized toward such incidents so maybe we should be a little more careful with our choice words, right?

Yashma Gill penned down how this horrendous act is wrong on all levels and the son should be provided with psychiatric help, if needed

She also clarified that despite the mental health concerns that led him to take such an action against his own mother, he should be kept away from his mother at all costs.

Journalist and social activist, Iqrar ul Hassan, professed his utter disturbance on how the criminal was still roaming around free.

This iniquitous and shameful act is beyond anyone’s comprehension and all everyone demands now is justice and immediate action by higher authorities.
