Did Esra Bilgiç really refuse to work with Pakistani photographers?
Pakistani fans of the Turkish show Ertuğrul are aplenty. They’re so invested in the show that they keep seeing Pakistani celebrities as their favorite Turkish characters. The love from Pakistani fans is so strong that Halime Sultan from the show, played Esra Bilgiç aka Halime Sultan has become the top celebrity endorses for Pakistani brands.
One would think that the love for the Turkish show and the actress is universal but that’s not the case. One Pakistani photographer recently claimed some very interesting thing about Esra Bilgiç.
While Ertuğrul and Esra Bilgiç have become beloved Pakistani favorites, not everyone’s happy about that
Case in point, Pakistani actor and writer Yasir Hussain who continues to make his displeasure with the Turkish show known every chance he gets. He also continues to receive great ridicule from fans.

Recently, a well known Pakistani photographer, Natasha Zubair, took to Instagram to claim that Esra Bilgiç has refused to work with Pakistani makeup artists and photographers
Natasha began to say that it was disappointing to see how Pakistanis can support Turkish actors even at the cost of the disrespect faced by their local artists and photographers. She claimed that the beloved Halime Sultan refused to work with Pakistani makeup artists and photographers. She pointed out how sad it was to see Pakistanis overlooking their own talented actors and investing in foreign actors who apparently aren’t even paying respect. Natasha highlighted that it was no one but ourselves to blame.
Upon coming across this claim, Pakistanis are pointing that it’s no big deal if Esra refused to work with Pakistani photographers and makeup artists because every actor has their personal choice
People are calling out the photographer for ‘double standards’ because, according to them, such statements weren’t issued when Indian celebrities worked for Pakistani brands
They think that Pakistanis need to get over the jealousy with Turkish celebrities because this happens all around the world
While others welcomed Natasha Zubair to Yasir Hussain’s league for not appreciating Esra
However, some people did point out that it was not okay to prefer foreign actors over own local talent and then cry about lack of talent or professionalism in Pakistan
Some people, however, are just unable to wrap their head around the idea of loving Esra to such a great extent
And goes without saying, there are always some people who are living for the comments
Some people are disheartened to learn that their love and affection for the Turkish actor isn’t being reciprocated by her but others just think it’s her choice. MangoBaaz has reached out to Natasha Zubair for her comment but have yet to receive an official response.
