Zartaj Gul Called Maryam Nawaz A “Hysterical Loser” And People Are Losing Their Shit

By Aam Nawab | 9 Aug, 2019

Zartaj Gul just went after Maryam Nawaz

After the news broke out yesterday that Maryam Nawaz had been arrested by NAB from Kot Lakhpat jail while she was on her way to visit her imprisoned father Nawaz Sharif, the opinion on social media about the arrest was divided. While some people were happy that she had been arrested, others had reservations about the timings.

The Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul was incredibly happy about the arrest of Maryam Nawaz and had some choice remarks about the PML N leader

She straight up called Maryam Nawaz a hysterical loser and an ally of India which in the current socio-political climate is a very dangerous term to associate with anyone.

She made Maryam Nawaz’s arrest about Kashmir somehow and said that the arrest was actually a way of standing in solidarity with the people of Kashmir

Quite a few people thought her comments were a little… much.

Others were a little more direct with what they thought of her

A few people were hoping it was a fake account but it wasn’t. Unfortunately

And of course, a few people did side with Zartaj Gul and stated that they could see some type of sense in her tweets and could understand why she might have said what she said

But unfortunately it wasn’t a fake account but the ministers own account which makes things worse. You would expect representatives of the government to exercise a little more control on their social media which is public. While she had every right to be pleased with Maryam Nawaz’s arrest for her own reasons, celebrating and making far off connections about the arrest was a little uncalled for.

What do you think of the State Minister for Climate Change tweeting so recklessly? Let us know in the comments below.
