Telenor has a new app feature to help us all during this pandemic

With the increasing cases of COVID-19 and ease in the lockdown, responsible citizens are making sure that they don’t step out unnecessarily which, we think, is the smartest thing to do in times like these. The greatest horror story could be stepping out of the house to go to an essential store like a general store, pharmacy or petrol station, but finding it closed. 

Well, for that Telenor has us covered with the launch of an innovative feature by the name of PIN IT in its flagship MyTelenor App. 

WHAT IS THIS FEATURE ABOUT?

The PIN IT feature allows people to tag the status of essential locations and outlets like grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations, super stores, Telenor and EasyPaisa retailers. This will help address the prevalent uncertainty and allow people to collaborate digitally by sharing this vital information through this feature to ensure everyone stays safe.

HOW CAN YOU USE THIS FEATURE? 

To use this feature, you can simply open the PIN IT feature on MyTelenor app. Select location of the essential outlets on the map, update their status, submit to create a pin and let others know about the status. This way you will be helping other Pakistanis and they will be helping you in return.
