Do you ever have one of those days when all you need in life is a little pick me up? Especially now that we know we won’t be getting any food or water all day for the next 30? Look no further, I have the perfect pick-me-up for you. There are some stories out there that have sad endings, some happy. But this story has a happy everything. Especially a happy ending!

Scout, an adorable tareen 3-year-old, and her mom decided to play dress up for the best cause ever!

Her grandmother (Scout’s) had just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and Scout’s mother needed to find a way to distract both of them and to calm Scout down. Scout, a sensitive kid, couldn’t handle seeing her Nonnie go through chemotherapy and see her hair fall out. That’s when her mother came up with the idea of researching about fierce, powerful women, and have Scout dress up as them, and to show the final result to her Nonnie, to make her feel better, too. And the results were absolutely brilliant.

Also, I forgot to mention the fact that SCOUT IS POSSIBLY ONE OF THE CUTEST KIDS IN THE WORLD

There was also the iconic artist and feminist, Frida Kahlon.

And the adorable Betty White.

What caught our eye the most was that Scout’s mother also dressed her up as the fearless Malala Yousafzai.

And she looked like an absolute doll!

Malala has been an inspiration for many women, across the world, with her fearlessness and resilience. She’s been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize among many others awards and laurels, for the strength that she’s displayed in her life and for not backing down even when there was a gun poinging down her throat. So it’s only fair that she’s joined the ranks of all the powerful women in the world and in this game of dress-up.

Also, Nonnie is now cancer-free!

Here’s hoping that many young women out there in the world grow up to be fierce and strong, so children like Scout have a lot more to look up to.
