Zaid Ali and his wife Yumna are back with another vlog after a very long semi-hiatus, and honestly, I didn’t realize the void that had been proliferating in my subconscious until it popped up on my timeline yesterday. At first, I was like ‘oh boy here we go again’ but then when I started watching it I was like….’oh boy I FREAKING CANNOT STOP WATCHING.’ I was fascinated by the entire thing and got a case of excessive feels.

The vlog is honestly nothing new, and at most, it’s cringy AF but I oddly found myself watching it a second third fourth fifth time (don’t judge please). I don’t know what it is, maybe it was Zaid and Yumna SO hopelessly in love, only further reminding me that I am alone but giving me a glimmer of hope at the same time?

Or maybe it was the fact that Zaid found Yumna so adoringly hilarious, his laughs for her melted my inner soul?

Or maybe it was the most squirmish little car ride where they sang songs together (such goals)?

Or perhaps it’s the way Zaid looks at Yumna…

At the surface, it’s a bit annoying, but then you’re instantly in a daze, glorifying a romance like theirs.

Or the whole mama-Zaid-Yumna dynamic and just watching their honeyed little interactions?

Also, it could be Zaid referring to Yumna and his mama as jaana bear and mama bear respectively that’s actually incredibly endearing (and probably the moment where I momentarily keel over and faint from excessive feels and forget to breathe)

…I just can’t put my finger on it…whatever it is, I’m already longing for their next vlog #sigh
