2020 is here, yet again, to take a toll on our lives. Right about now when Eid ul Fitr is just around the corner, a tragic incident just happened to put another dark cloud over everything.
A PIA plane en route Karachi from Lahore crashed just minutes before landing
The flight PK-8303 carried more than 100 passengers, including 8 members of the flight crew. The plane took off from Lahore it crashed at about 2.45 pm local time. Sources suggest that the communication of the plane got cut off before landing.

The plane crashed in a residential area of Karachi
Clouds of smoke rose in the Jinnah Garden area near Model Colony in Malir Cantt, when the plane crashed. Many houses are damaged and people are being helped out from the rubble.

Rumors started circulating that Ayeza Khan and her husband Danish Taimoor were also onboard the PIA flight

Thankfully, Ayeza Khan has now denied this rumor and posted on her Instagram that she is safe
She urged the public to act sensible and stop spreading fake news to create panic. She prayed for the safety of victims and patience for their families.

PIA still has to confirm what caused the crash. Our hearts go out for all the families affected due to this terrible incident. May Allah grants them patience and we do not have to witness such a horrible incident again.
