Fawad Chaudhry wished Modi with a ganda joke
Fawad Chaudhry’s Twitter presence is famous or rather infamous on both sides of the border. His tweets have generated a lot of buzz and have quite a few people even questioning how he’s an actual Minister in the government’s cabinet.
In Fawad Chaudhry’s latest Twitter faux pas, he literally made a very untasteful tweet directed towards the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It’s Modi’s birthday today and Fawad Chaudhry felt the need to tweet about it with a very… surprising message.
Fawad Chaudhry just wished Modi a happy birthday with a very dirty joke that’s actually in poor taste
He said that Modi’s birthday is a reminder why contraceptives are important and added the hashtag #ModiBirthday in the end.
Today reminds us the importance of contraceptives #ModiBirthday

Of course, the tweet did not go over well with Indians who immediately started attacked Fawad Chaudhry
With a court jester to entertain everyone!#Modi #Modibirthday pic.twitter.com/N9ZgPxrzxx

Today? Just one day in an year? While your tweets and face reminds us of importance of contraceptives 24×7, 365 days in an year.

True, if your mother had taken few of them you would have not be here to fear Modi 😂😂😂

Honestly, I do understand why Indians are pissed at Fawad
I mean what else would you expect? If an Indian Minister publicly tweeted against Imran Khan. We would be up in arms defending our country’s leader as well. And if the Minister themselves made such a tasteless joke, you would expect the replies to be just as disgusting.
Not surprised why your country is the pits .. with people like you in power .. disgusting

Fawad Chaudhry’s tweet really struck a nerve on the other side of the border and why wouldn’t it honestly. It was incredibly distasteful and crossed a line. While freedom of speech on the internet is clearly everyone’s right and the Minister has the right to voice his opinion, he needs to remember that he is a politician and representing Pakistan internationally. His tweet might have done what he wanted; angered Indians but at what cost?
It was not only Indians that were upset by the tweet but a lot of Pakistanis were taken aback by it as well.
Today also reminds us of what an embarrassment this government is–throwing insults at our neighbours like schoolchildren instead of actually doing their jobs properly.

What is the matter with fawad ch

You know what's the similarity between fawad Chaudhary and a Jelly fish?
Both lack brain cells.— Muhammad Wasif (@wasif_17) September 17, 2019
Tensions between India and Pakistan run quite high right now because of India’s occupation of Kashmir but that doesn’t mean we stoop to petty insults and comebacks.
