The Government Official Who Liked An Adult Video Claims He Was Hacked And People Are Still Trolling Him

Remember the government official who was trolled for banning “immoral books” but liked an adult video on Twitter? Yeah, he’s spoken up.

Punjab Assembly has recently passed a Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyad-e-Islam Act, 2020 which lead to a ban on around a hundred books within the province. This ban sparked severe criticism from the general public for being based on ignorance and petty justifications and people had a hard time believing that this is what Pakistan’s situation had come to.

However, amidst all this, The Director of Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board, Rai Manzoor Nasir, was caught up in a Twitter storm for liking an adult video on Twitter. He has now come forward with a statement.

Rai Manzoor Nasir, the director of PCTB, has issued a statement regarding the justification of the ban. According to the statement, the books have been and are being thoroughly reviewed by 30 committees of PCTB with the banned books being objectionable due to their content. He further stated that a week’s deadline has been issued to remove these books from the market.

Within the statement, he also stated that he had recently fired 10 of his staff members due to their involvement in corruption. Defending his character, he mentioned that he has been a victim of ‘social media hack’ and thus emphatically denied the accusations of liking and commenting on ‘immoral pictures’.

Twitter was pretty quick to deny Rai Manzoor’s claims of being hacked

Needless to say, people were super pissed off at the statement issued by him.

Completely appalled at the state of our government, people ridiculed the weak excuses

What do you think about the statement issued by the Managing Director of PCTB? Have any comments? Let us know.
